Chevening Scholarships are available for international students with at least two years' work experience to study a one-year master's course on a full-time basis.
The scheme welcomes applications that demonstrate your capability to excel at master's level and your visions for your future (and perhaps your home country's future).
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, you must:
- Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
- Return to your country of citizenship for at least two years after the course has ended.
- Have fulfilled the entry requirements of a UK master's course by the time you submit your application. This is typically equivalent to an undergraduate degree with upper second-class (2:1) honours.
- Have at least two years' work experience.
- Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer for one of these by 16 July 2020.
- Meet the Chevening English language requirement by 16 July 2020.
There are some further conditions that may render you ineligible for an award.
