For many students, applying to university can be a difficult and daunting decision. Financial barriers can limit student potential. We are grateful to DRPG, who are sponsoring a bursary worth £5,000 per year to a student enrolled on Events Management and Innovation, BA | University of Greenwich, London.
About the scholarship
The Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage Events Management Scholarship was created by a group of leading events professionals, who were keen to deliver measurable change to the sectors they love. The scholarship has been established to increase diversity in the events, hospitality and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions sectors as less than 10% of Event professionals are from Black, Asian or underrepresented Minorities.
Reach, now entering its fourth year, has recently launched ‘Reach 2.0’, a legacy-driven restructure that formalises governance, strengthens delivery, and sets out a path to expand the number of scholarships from three to five each year by connecting industry supporters with University of Greenwich to fund the scholarships.
