Our Greenwich Progression Bursary offers a £3,000 fee waiver to current University of Greenwich final year undergraduate students and alumni to help you Power Up your future and reach your potential through postgraduate study. We are committed to our students’ success and progression to postgraduate study and are investing significant financial resources in addressing the cost-of-living crisis for students wishing to continue their studies with a master’s degree.
Am I eligible?
You may be offered the Greenwich Progression Bursary provided you satisfy the below criteria:
- You are a current final year University of Greenwich undergraduate student (predicted to achieve a 2:2 degree classification or higher) applying for a postgraduate taught (PGT) course or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Or you are a graduate of the University of Greenwich with a 2:2 undergraduate degree classification or higher, applying for a postgraduate taught (PGT) course or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- You are assessed to pay fees at the Home rate and will be studying at Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (except Medway School of Pharmacy). Students applying for Greenwich Online courses are not eligible.
The bursary is only available to students starting a PGT or PGCE course with available places in September 2026. It will be applied to part-time students on a pro-rata basis. The course should be completed with no gaps in study to retain the full bursary amount.
How to apply
The bursary is assessed and awarded by the Student Recruitment team.
We are delighted to announce we have extended the deadline for the Greenwich Progression Bursary. The bursary is limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. The bursary will close once all available funding has been allocated. Apply to your postgraduate course as soon as possible to increase your chances of securing a bursary.
