Greenwich progression bursary

The new £3,000 bursary and work internship scheme for home fee paying students and Alumni.

We are committed to our students’ success and progression to postgraduate study and are investing significant financial resources in addressing the cost of living crisis for students wishing to continue their studies with a master’s degree. As part of this commitment, we are offering £3,000 fee waiver bursaries and the opportunity for a paid professional internship at the end of your studies to help you ‘Power Up’ your future and reach your potential.

Am I eligible?

You will be offered the Greenwich Progression Bursary shortly after submission of your Postgraduate application provided you satisfy the below criteria:

  • You are a current final year Undergraduate student (predicted to achieve a 2:2 degree classification or higher) applying for a Postgraduate Taught (PGT) course.
  • Or you are a graduate of the University of Greenwich with a 2:2 Undergraduate degree classification or higher, applying for a Postgraduate Taught (PGT) course.
  • You are holding an offer on an available Postgraduate course for September 2023 entry.
  • You are assessed to pay fees at the home rate and will be studying at Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (except Medway School of Pharmacy) or one of our Partner Colleges, where your tuition fee is paid directly to us.

The bursary is only available to students starting a Postgraduate course with available places in September 2023. It will be applied to part-time students on a pro-rata basis. The course should be completed with no gaps in study to retain the full bursary amount.

This bursary is assessed and awarded automatically by the Student Fees and Funding Team.
