As a cash bursary, this funding is designed to remove financial barriers and enable recipients to focus on their studies and career development. The scholarship can contribute towards essential costs such as study materials, travel, and living expenses, while also helping students take advantage of valuable opportunities including industry placements.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have UK nationality or residence status and meet the nationality or residency status criteria to qualify for home fee status.
- Hold an offer to study for the academic year 2026/27 on our BSc (Hons) Construction Management programme.
- Must enrol onto the programme to receive the cash bursary.
Whilst we welcome applications for this scholarship from all eligible students priority for the scholarships will be given to students from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education such as areas of low higher education participation (e.g. POLAR 4 Q1) which is identified by home postcode, low socioeconomic backgrounds (e.g. Index of Multiple Deprivation Quintiles 1 and 2) which is identified by home postcode, or low household income.
Application process
To be considered for our scholarship applicants must by the deadlines below have:
- Applied to study BSc (Hons) Construction Management programme.
- Provide a personal statement explaining which scholarship eligibility criteria you meet, why you are applying for the course and how you think this scholarship will help your future aspirations (500 word maximum).
The deadline to apply is Thursday 16th July 2026.
Successful applicants will be informed week commencing 20th July 2026.
